The Pioneer armor is an upgraded version of the venerable Settler armor, also manufactured by DuraTekk. Based on a later version of their secret multi-composite bio-resin, it offers light yet functional protection. As with a lot of DuraTekk's designs, the Pioneer series is a subject to massive copying by local armor makers.
